Our chalet is in a great location with the beach/sea just a 2-minute walk away and with all amenities on your doorstep. The chalet is 191m2 with mature gardens, closed in making it safe for children. In total the grounds and chalet is 380m2. There is a covered terrace at the front of the property with dining facilities and gas BBQ.
Entry to the property is by a private locked gate. This leads to the main front door then hallway. This leads off to the ground floor bedrooms. There is one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, one twin bedroom with en. -Suite and one family bathroom with shower. The hallway also leads to the large lounge/dining area with patio doors to the front covered terrace. (There is a sofa bed in the lounge area to cater for an additional two people making this a sleep 10 chalet.) Satellite TV, DVD, Wi Fi.
From the dining area this leads to a fully fitted kitchen with all electrical appliances also a small table and chairs. There is a door that leads from the kitchen to the outside area at the back of the property where there are two separate areas one is an outside shower the other is a utility room. There are double gates that lock with a key for parking within the property if needed.
The 1st floor consists of a twin bedroom with en-suite and patio doors that lead to a good-sized private open terrace area. The chalet is fitted with an alarm. There is also a Safe available. All rooms are fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning, Warm air / cold air. For summer winter months. The lounge area also has an open log fire.

The Port of Alcudia has the largest sandiest beach on the Island and is 10km long. There is a pedestrian walkway to walk/run/skate… from one end of the Port to the area of Playa de Muro and the holiday resort of Can Picafort. There is every water sport imaginable along this coast. There is also a water park “Hidro park” less than a mile away..
The resort is very popular with cyclists both casual cyclists and the elite, the annual “Iron man event” takes place in the port of Acudia and our property is ideally situated for this race.
Port of Alcudia lies in the north of Mallorca some 60 km from Palma. It is a very friendly, family resort with glorious beaches and a good selection of bars and restaurants, which attract visitors from all over Europe as well as many Spanish tourists. It is certainly one of the island’s most cosmopolitan resorts.
The resort is very popular with cyclists both casual cyclists and the elite, the annual “Iron man event” takes place in the port of Acudia and our property is ideally situated for this race.
A short walk or bus ride away is the old town of Alcudia. The old town was the capital of Mallorca in Roman times, although originally dating back even further to the Phoenician and Greek times. You can visit the Roman ruins, museum and the Roman Amphiteatre.
Alcudia town has a market twice a week within the walled town. Tuesdays and Sundays not to be missed. Local buses run every 15 minutes to the town.
There are local buses available to take you to other resorts as well as to Palma City.
The nearest golf club is Alcanada, which is a couple of miles away from the port, Or a short drive / bus ride away is Pollensa Golf Club.

Lovely Clean Chalet
The chalet was a base for our cycling holiday. Everything including pictures is just like the website says, very clean, very helpful owners. We enjoyed our evenings after a long ride sitting outside under the covered terrace with a great sized BBQ. If you are a recreational cyclist /cycle enthusiast then this is a great spot / location. The chalet is in the heart of where the iron man event takes place along with lots of other competitions. The beach is a car free area and along side it is a path where we would use this for our warm up/down, running along the 7km of bay. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return.
Home From Home
We have stayed at this property now 3 years running and have booked to come back for a 4th time in 2015. The Chalet is like home, great location, two minutes to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. good size bedrooms so plenty of room for our kids to make themselves at home with their toys. Overall we have always thoroughly enjoyed staying there and we love the part of Majorca it’s in. You can walk to The Port along the beach so a beautiful walk. We can’t wait to go back next year.
Ägaren till huset kallar det i en felöversättning för “fjällstuga”. Inget kundet vara felaktigare – det är en villa vid havet, i två plan och med fyra utmärkta sovrum. På plan 2 finns en fin solterrass och på undervåningen äter man gärna frukost med möjlighet till skugga. Huset är lugnt beläget, men öppnar man porten och promenerar ca 150 meter så står man vid den fantastiska sandstranden i Alcudia, med alla möjligheter för barn och vuxna. Går man åt andra hållet dyker butiker och restauranger upp. Villan har alltså ett suveränt läge!
We found the property spotless and exactly as described. Close to all amenities. We hired a car so we could explore the island but you could still have a great holiday here without one. For those who like walking, aside from the excellent coastal path, there are canals and a lake close by. The chalet is very comfortable and although we didn’t use the kitchen that much it was perfectly useable. Communication with the owner was really excellent. We were greeted on arrival and shown around the property. The directions to the property were also very good. We would highly recommend this property.

Extra Costs
Electricity: Due to the low rental cost of our villas and the high cost of electric, for each weekly rental a limit of 200 kw per week is included in the villa costing. If you use more than 200kw then there is a surcharge of 0.20 cents per extra KW used.
Extra occupancy: If all beds are fully occupied and extra people wish to use the sofa bed that is available, there is a surcharge per person per week. Please enquire to get a correct quotation
